How to use cognitive bias to show diversity!

In this post, we discuss how cognitive bias could be used to show diversity in companies or institutions if they lack it. Note that we are not critiquing whether having diversity is good or bad; we are only observing how a cognitive bias could be used to obscure reality in the minds of the masses.

First we find a useful cognitive bias, illusory truth effect which is the following:

The illusory truth effect (also known as the illusion of truth effect, validity effect, truth effect, or the reiteration effect) is the tendency to believe false information to be correct after repeated exposure.

Now, say a photo or video of people working is being taken. Instead of randomly sampling members and recording them, intentionally make sure that the group is diverse. If testimonials are being written on the institution's page, then make sure that there is diversity in the names. If interviews are being conducted, make sure that the group of people being interviewed is diverse. If this is continuously done, then thanks to social media, the image that would be projected would be that the institution is more diverse than it actually is, thus achieving our goal.
